We don’t believe in a “one-size fits all” educational model. All children learn differently. At Watauga Montessori, we follow the child’s interests through Montessori methodology while integrating our curriculum to develop the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We do not believe in standardized testing, but instead assess our students through observation, portfolios, and beginning, middle, and end of year reading/math assessments. Report cards for lower elementary are on a 9-week schedule. More information about schedules can be found on our tuition page.
